Endangered species

I used to have a feature on my radio show I called “For Crying Out Loud!” and this would definitely qualify.

Federal protection is being sought for a giant, smelly earthworm. Has anybody else seen this?!

It’s 3 feet long, pinkish in color, smells like a lily and must be saved from extinction, conservationists said Thursday in asking the federal government to protect the giant Palouse earthworm under the Endangered Species Act.

Meanwhile, out in South Dakota, there’s a referendum this November asking the citizens of that state to vote against the Women’s Health and Human Life Protection Law. Why? Because it saves human life in the womb, and the rights of that child’s mother, under the U.S. Constitution.
