Helping women….saving humanity
Women who know the ravages of abortion firsthand are speaking out in greater numbers in a growing campaign of awareness.
One of the leading pro-life women’s groups took their message to Capitol Hill today and told a legislative briefing room full of Congressional staff and interns that women deserve better than abortion. Feminists for Life of America also unveiled a new slate of speakers who will travel the country addressing college students.
Melissa Ohden, who survived a saline abortion 30 years ago at five months into the pregnancy, shared her story at the nation’s capitol.
Ohden was placed in a neonatal unit until she was adopted, but in a statement sent to LifeNews.com, she sees her near-death experience as a testimony to share with others.
“Instead of being angry or bitter about the circumstances that surrounded my arrival into this world, I have chosen to be grateful,†she said. “The time has come in my life when I believe I need to use my story to provide a voice for women and children and the obstacles that they face in the world we all live in.â€
Who in the world could possibly oppose that? The same people who vigorously fight information and the truths about abortion wherever they emerge.
