Not that I want to continue this very public controversy that started on Fox News over teachings of the Catholic faith. But it’s continuing across some prominent blogs and being passed on through email lists and since it’s growing, you should know what it was originally about. Domus Dei has the discussion between Sean Hannity and Fr. Thomas Euteneuer pretty well transcribed, with personal notations added.

Like I said below, it’s really important to know the reasons why the Church teaches what it does (and always has). Public arguments over ‘thou shall nots’ as rules ignore – or are ignorant of – the beauty behind the ‘thou shall’ truths of the human person.
