Ireland uncovers a timely Scriptural message?

Did you see this story on a book of Psalms recently found in an Irish bog? If it’s true, it is amazing. But here’s the jaw-dropper:

The book was found open to a page describing, in Latin script, Psalm 83, in which God hears complaints of other nations’ attempts to wipe out the name of Israel.

Experts are studying it and figuring out how to preserve it from now on.

I was thinking of more transcendent questions. But then this story started showing up on ‘end of times’ talk shows, websites and blogs. And they’re running with it.

So now I’m wondering more temporal things, like whether it actually was found in a wet bog, opened to Psalm 83. And whether the gentleman who found it left it right there, as is, until the Associated Press (for the National Museum of Ireland) came and snapped that shot of it.

Just wondering. If it’s authentic, it’s a great story.
