Reaching the Holy Land
That’s what the good people at Telelumiere are trying desperately to do, now that their satellite dishes have been bombed out of existence.
The Telelumiere network has been the only consistent voice of faith, peace, hope, forgiveness, justice and freedom for the people of the Holy Land for about 15 years.
Its identity is as clear as its message: A television for man, society, the nation and the church. It is not a political or commercial station, but a cultural, spiritual and humanitarian project. Télé-Lumière was established after the Lebanese war to participate in rebuilding the people torn by war and to spread the value of peace, communication and forgiveness in a nation which will not be able to survive without these principles.
Until this past week, the network broadcast its programming of pure peace, charity and humanity to Christians, Muslims and Jews throughout the Middle East, 24/7. Now they have been silenced by the bombings in Lebanon.
If you want to be part of the peace and relief missions, this is one organization that needs your help. Spiritual sustenence is in dire need right now there, right along with other supplies.Â
