Real heads-up journalism

The guys at the National Review Online media blog have been covering the tension between some of the press and the U.S. military command leadership, and now they’ve found some comic relief.

It’s not totally unrelated, given that the AP is the same news entity that brings you the serious war coverage, the goofy headline reproduced at NRO, and the gamut of breaking news stories in between. Think about that next time you read, say, an AP story referring to “a procedure critics call ‘partial-birth abortion’,” about a procedure that kills a baby in the middle of being born. They have a way with words.
