The scam didn’t last long

Planned Parenthood didn’t get away with it in the end.

After an avalanche of phone calls and emails from pro-life advocates locally and across the country, Habitat for Humanity in Sarasota, Florida has disassociated itself with a proposed Planned Parenthood abortion center. The local Habitat board voted Tuesday night to disengage from the project.

Habitat for Humanity should never have even considered the preposterous idea in the first place. It’s deceptive, inconsistent with the values they stand for, and morally incoherent.

Kudos to them for seeing the light and following it, for humanity.
