An earlier post below reported that Pope Benedict XVI has called on all the churches, the faithful, and all people of goodwill to join in a global day of prayer Sunday, July 23,
“to implore from God the precious gift of peace.”
A good starting moment would be to realize that peace is a precious gift. Just ask anyone in the world who lives in terror and conflict.
