Humanitarian crisis

The headlines are all about the politics and the parties involved in the Middle East war. But there are people caught in the middle, on all sides, who need help. Here’s a poignant account from Gaza. And here’s one from the Israeli side. Besides Caritas, one good group doing the work of meeting humanitarian needs is this one, and they need all the support they can get.

Whatever the politics, people are caught in the middle, and every one of them is suffering acutely. They’re people with families like all of us. We should help them.
