The only thing that has been consistent in this election year has been its reigning inconsistency.
And unpredictability, from week to week…(day to day?).
The answer to the question in the last line of this Michael Barone article is probably yes.

I have been letting this election cycle rob me of some peace, unfortunately…
I think some of the unpredictability is not just coming from the human side of things. There may be an all out demonic assault involved owing to the big stakes of this election: several supreme court judges will likely be retiring, the president and filibuster-proof congressional majority will both be of the same party if Obama wins, and South Dakota’s informed consent effort forces abortionists to be honest about what they do.
So, I just attempt to hand it all over and pray, pray, pray.
