Separate the threat of cause from the hope of cure

Looking for a link between the Susan B. Komen Foundation (which operates a highly visible and successful breast cancer awareness campaign during October)….and Planned Parenthood? Here’s one that’s less than obvious, which is probably the point.

And here’s one of the most information bullet points there:

• Susan G. Komen for the Cure awarded 72 grants to Planned Parenthood afflilates during the years 2000 through 2005. These grants are reported on the Susan G. Komen website by entering “Planned Parenthood” on Komen’s searchable grant page.

Pro-life people who want to contribute to the cause of breast cancer awareness, prevention and cure will find good company here.
